One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish...

I just love Dr. Suess, what a creative mind! My house is piled with books from the amazing Suess.  I have yet to ever give my kids a Dr. Suess party, however, after viewing some of these ideas, I am thinking about adding it my list!  Take a look and see what I am talking about.

This first site you have to stop by is Eventful possibilities.  She is in love with everything Dr. Suess and her blog shows it.  She has ideas from just about every Dr. Suess book. Check it out here.

This party is from Kara's party Ideas:

The next party was featured on Hostess with the Mostess, some very cute ideas...

This last party comes from Pizzazzerie.  It was for a baby shower, but you can really use these ideas for any party.  They are just too cute to pass up!

Hope you were inspired by these posts as much as I was.

Brought to you by the letter A and the Number 1

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?  This is such a cute party that can really be used for any age who loves Sesame Street.  One of my best friends recently had a Sesame Street theme party for her 2 year old and I wanted to share the invites with you, they were really cute:

She took the first letter of the guest's last name and tied a tag to the invite to personalized each invitation.  You should check out her blog, Home Sweet Living, to get the full details on the party. Click here for all the info.

This fun favor bag idea comes from Buggy's Basement. Cute idea that would not be hard to create.

Below is a Sunny and Bright Elmo party done by Michelle from I DO invitations by Michelle designed for her daughter’s 2nd birthday!  These pictures are from HWTM, where Michelle was featured.

Such a sweet touch, a letter from Elmo himself, and did you notice even the clip stand has a picture of Elmo on it?

For anyone who has watched Elmo's world knows that Elmo loves his Goldfish, "Dorothy".  Place small simple, goldfish bowls as your centerpiece, with real goldfish of course! You can even let the kids feed Dorothy!

What little kid (or adult for that matter) won't love their very own Sesame Street sign? How cool is this? Want to know the real kicker? You can get your own made here!

If you choose to do a candy buffet, you might want to check this one out over at Hostess with the Mostess:

Remember to use bright 'Sesame Street' colored candy and ribbons.

Next, you have to check out these cute DIY invitations, made from washcloths!  They come from the Freckled Laundry blog, you MUST check it out!

After setting the tone of your fabulous party, create a dramatic entrance for your guests.  I love this picture below, Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster tracks, very cute, done by Elle Belle's Bows blog.  You can click here to see all the details of her daughters 2nd Sesame Street party.

Kate, over at And Everything Sweet did an A-MAZING job with her daughter's party:

I mean seriously, this cake is over the top and I am totally loving it!

And how stink'n cute is this sign, Kate really did an amazing job with this party!

I love all the labels as the sesame street, street sign....oh so cute! And these Elmo chocolates....yes, please!

Yes, this is what I was talking about....use a real gold fish as a favor for the kids, add the crayons, the parents will just love you for it!

These hats that Kate made are adorable, I want one!  Yet another DIY success!

This next party is brought to you by the ladies over at 11cupcakes, a great blog and they have their own esty shop to purchase a lot of these items and personalize them for you, start shopping here!

I spent more time on this posting than planned.  My kids are asking if I can finally make them lunch!  Let's face it, it's such a cute party theme and it reminds me of when I was a kid...when things were simple. Hope you enjoyed a trip down memory lane and picked up some great ideas from some creative ladies along the way!

Candyland

Bright vibrant colors, the sugar plum fairy, what a great game candyland is, so why not make it your child's birthday theme!?!?

To help you get those creative brain waves following, here are some great idea's from some very creative ladies:

1.  This first party is from my favorite website, Hostess with the Mostess.  If you click here will be able to find out how to set up your tabletop, party decor and even a sample food menu, it's as simple as a click!

They hung colored paper lanterns and tied them so they look like giant candy hanging from the tree.  You might want to try colored balloons. You get the same effect and it's much cheaper!

These are the favors they put together. I actually did the same favor for my daughter's first carnival birthday party.

2.  This next party comes from Glorious Treats.  She even includes directions on how to make the giant lollipops!  Click here for the full details.

3.  Okay, this party is brought to you buy the Tip Junkie, via Parents.com and it's amazing!

4.  Passion for Parties came up with this next party. Click here for all the details.

I just love how she made this candy buffet into a store front.

The candy garland is super cute!
