Coming Soon...

Thought I would show you all the reason why I have not been blogging as much as usual.  I have been spending my time creating a couple of new parties PLUS adding a new theme to GlitterPosh Parties!

I am excited to announce a CARS theme has been added to GlitterPosh.  I have a few "sneak peak" photo's for you all, but you will have to wait until after the first party that is scheduled for next weekend!  Be sure to come back and see the full details!

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish...

I just love Dr. Suess, what a creative mind! My house is piled with books from the amazing Suess.  I have yet to ever give my kids a Dr. Suess party, however, after viewing some of these ideas, I am thinking about adding it my list!  Take a look and see what I am talking about.

This first site you have to stop by is Eventful possibilities.  She is in love with everything Dr. Suess and her blog shows it.  She has ideas from just about every Dr. Suess book. Check it out here.

This party is from Kara's party Ideas:

The next party was featured on Hostess with the Mostess, some very cute ideas...

This last party comes from Pizzazzerie.  It was for a baby shower, but you can really use these ideas for any party.  They are just too cute to pass up!

Hope you were inspired by these posts as much as I was.

Harry Potter Inspired Birthday

I'll be the first to say it, I know NOTHING about Harry Potter.  I have not read a single book, seen any of the movies, I could not even tell you what's it's about other than I think he is a wizard of some sort.

Although I know nothing, what I do know is that my friends 7 year old boy LOVES Harry Potter.  So in honor of him turning 7, I thought I would share some HP inspired birthday party's that I have seen.  For all of your HP fans, I hope you enjoy!

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh...why not have the beloved little pooh bear as your party theme.  Here are some ideas to help make your party a great success!

1.  As always, be sure to check out the Disney Party Blog when you need idea's for any Disney Theme. Click here to get all the details of this party via Twitteredpated.

isn't the hunny pots such a cute idea for the favors? Love it!  And the headbands...adorable!

I love all the attention to detail on this party and most of it is out of paper!

So cute! Makes me want to put a Winnie the pooh party together!

2.  So I just had to include this picture from the Disney Party Blog as well, it's just too cute and funny!

3.  This third party comes from none other than Hostess with the Mostess via the Dooby Design Group.  Click here to get all the details, there are just too many to post.

Vroooommmm...Party in Radiator Springs

I was recently asked to help create a Car's Theme party for an amazing little boy.  The focus was on Car's 1, not 2 and here are some idea's I found:

This first party comes straight from the Disney Party Blog.  Click here to view the entire party.

Very cute dessert buffet, all the white and black checkered items is a must....I am thinking some small orange cones and tires would be really cute as well.

I love seeing fruit at a kids birthday party and when it's as creative as these apple/grape cars, you know the kids are going to love them!  On a side note, notice the veggie cups in the background, a very simple, clean way to serve kids veggies and dip. Plus it's fun!

Loving the idea of having the kids paint their own car's.  To go a cheaper route than buying actual "car's" car's is to simply buys some at the dollar store and let them paint away!

So cute!

This is what I am talking about - loving the cones as the kids cups!

 can you say...AMAZING....

Very cute idea to use mini chocolate donuts as tires!

2.  This is another party that was featured on The Disney Blog. Click here for all the details.

Piston cup ticket....love it

okay, can I come to this party?

I am not sure it's necessary to get all the car's stand-up's but one would be cool to have at a party!

3.  This next party comes from Yvonne Byatt's family fun blog, via Treasures and Tiara's.

Can you say impressive?

I know this looks overwhelming, but it's very do-able.  Just take it apart piece by piece. Like the tires, check local auto parts stores for old tires.  Or you can also buy these inflatable tires as well from amazon.

Very cute way to display the cupcakes.

Such a cute idea and a fast fix if you need one. You can buy this road tape here.

4. From So Wonderful, So Marvelous, here are more great Car's ideas:

For small kids, use one of these car/road rugs as an activity for the little tykes.

Here is another take on Ramone's paint shop using tattoo's!

Now isn't this cute? Rice crispy treats made into stop signs! Yummy!

Some other ideas you might want to consider is creating personalized driver's licenses for each guest, or perhaps a lanyard that reads "Pit Crew" with some party info, like your your child's name and how old he is turning and then on the bottom put the name of the individual guest.

And as always, if you need any help or idea's for a party, just let me know!
